Evangelist Ernestine Howard Melvin, 87 of 809 Southwest Blvd., Clinton, NC passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton, NC.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Union Grove Church of Christ Disciples of Christ with Pastor John Adderley officiating.

The burial will follow in Bearskin Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Evangelist Melvin is survived by her HUSBAND-Bobby Melvin of the home; DAUGHTERS-Elizabeth Cameron of Bronx, NY, Julie Rattley of Ocala, FL, Brenda Funderburk of St. Petersburg, FL and Christa Wynn of Clinton, NC; SONS-James C. Melvin of Fayetteville, NC, Billy R. Melvin of Lynn Haven, FL, Al Melvin of Wilson, NC, Darryl Melvin of Raeford, NC and Emmanuel Melvin of Columbus MS; SISTERS-Tillie Parker of Fayetteville, NC, Denise Faison of Clinton, NC and Annie Blue of Clinton, NC; BROTHER-Tony Howard of Jersey City, NJ; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
